Providing care for children with cerebral palsy requires a multidisciplinary approach. The paediatric orthopaedic unit of the Erasmus Medical Centre - Sophia Children’s hospital is organizing this conference with both national and international speakers discussing all aspects of care in these children. 

The day will be suitable for a broad audience as neurological, anaesthesiological, orthopaedic and pediatric aspects will be addressed, as well as rehabilitation in these children. 

The main focus will be the surgical treatment for children with CP. Subjects such as the necessary perioperative conditions will be discussed and what are the pearls and pitfalls of treatment. 

The international faculty includes: Professor H.K Graham, paediatric orthopaedic surgeon (Melbourne, Australia), Professor D. M. Eastwood, paediatric orthopaedic surgeon (Londen, UK) and Professor R.M. Castelein, paediatric orthopaedic surgeon (UMC Utrecht). Each of which will facilitate a keynote lecture.
